           Strength training class. Multi-Level Instruction, appropriate for all fitness                  levels.  


           This is TRULY BEGINNER LEVEL CLASS! All poses are demonstrated,
           there is no pressure on knees or wrists and it is appropriate as your absolute
           first yoga class. It's taught multi-level and is also appropriate for people with 
           a little more experience, however no experience required. Sun salutations are not
           practiced in this class.
           Restorative Yoga is a gentle, therapeutic style of yoga which helps to   
          lubricate stiff joints. No experience required, all levels welcome. All poses
          are done seated or lying on the mat, no up and down and no standing poses.

Zumba
LOWER IMPACT
IT’S FUN! 
Zumba® is "Exercise in Disguise." You will have so much fun, you’ll forget you’re actually burning 500 – 1000 calories per class! The music is a fun and invigorating mix of Latin and high energy pop songs. 

IT'S EASY! 
Our 45 minute classes are specifically created for those who prefer a slower/lower impact Zumba class. It's taught multi-level and appropriate for beginner - intermediate fitness levels, plus size people and seniors. Everyone is welcome, we have all types of people in our classes. (Except the super fit - regular Zumba® Classes would be more appropriate) We’ve created easy to follow, lower impact, Zumba® routines that alternate between fast and slow songs to ensure every body can keep up. (you can even do a modified version while sitting in a chair!) The class starts begins and ends with warm-up and cool-down stretching

IT'S EFFECTIVE! 
Zumba® is a cardio/fitness workout that targets the core, tones and sculpts the body and TORCHES CALORIES! Arm-toning isolations (you can choose to add free weights if you like!) and core work is incorporated into the moves. Your energy level will soar!

IT'S REWARDING!
Mentally, a class will relieve stress, you will stimulate your brain by learning coordination and you will feel more confident in your body. You will feel energized, build self-confidence and self-esteem. You will make new friends, plus, you'll learn some seriously badass dance floor moves!

Beginner 101
BEGINNER LEVEL YOGA CLASSES
This class is suitable for beginners and students of all ages and fitness levels, no experience or flexibility required. You will begin by focusing on the basics guided by detailed instructions on how to perform each posture and improve alignment. The instructor will demonstrate poses and guide you into them step by step. 

Options/modifications are given throughout the class to accommodate varying degrees of strength and/or flexibility. All of the postures have been carefully chosen, are suitable for most bodies and are easily modified to fit the individual needs of the practitioner. You will be encouraged to work at your level, honour your body and limitations and go deeper when you feel you're ready in a non-competitive environment. 

This class will help you become familiar with the foundational poses and prepare you for a regular yoga practice. A variety of yoga props are used to help students ease into poses; the instructor will teach you how to use them and incorporate some or all of them into classes. Please note...we do not practice poses that require kneeling or pressure on the knees and wrists as we find many of our clients have sensitive knees and/or wrists. Sun salutations are not practiced in this class.

All levels and abilities, no experience required. (no specific level of flexibility required either...we know you were wondering...)
Restorative Yoga
with Thai Massage
RESTORATIVE YOGA CLASSES
Relax, Unwind, Restore. The only work you will be expected to do is breathe deeply, relax and let go...​

This class will restore your body and mind with a combination of calming restorative yoga poses while receiving Thai Yoga Massage. ​

This restorative journey begins with you being guided into various restorative poses that are held longer, fully supported by many types of props. The only work you will be expected to do is breathe deeply, relax and let go. As you rest, you will receive Thai massage to your body’s energy lines and acupressure points. The final treat is the use of essential oils to help transport you into a blissful state and bring equilibrium to your body and mind.

You can expect to walk away lighter than when you came in and have a great night’s sleep and a rejuvenated tomorrow.  Restorative Yoga helps to calm anxiety and lift depression. This class is a real treasure and not to be missed! ​

A slower practice will awaken and encourage deeper openings. This class is essential for all levels!

Appropriate for all fitness levels, no experience or flexibility level necessary.
If you are new to yoga and/or have injuries, this is a great class to start with.​
Gentle Yin Yoga
YIN YOGA CLASSES
Yin Yoga uses long, passive holds, comfortably supported by bolsters, yoga blocks and blankets to release tension in the deep, dense connective tissues of the body. Yin yoga increases flexibility, especially in the spine and hips and restores and rehabilitates joints and muscles. It also emphasizes stillness and silence.

All poses are done seated or reclined on the matt, there are no standing poses. There is no pressure on the knees and wrists in this class and we will go up and down to the mat only once, thus making it more gentle and available to those with less mobility. Yin Yoga helps to calm anxiety and lift depression.

This class is open to all fitness levels - no previous experience or flexibility level required. ​
If you are new to yoga, this is a great class to start with.

Yoga Flow
MORE CHALLENGING YOGA CLASSES
This more challenging beginner yoga class is focused on developing synchronization of breath and flow of movement to build strength and balance in your practice. The instructor will guide you through flows of movement called vinyasa which will connect several poses. The postures in this class are diverse so that they balance out both strength and flexibility. This class is not suitable for those new to yoga as it is quickly paced and requires knowledge of basic beginner yoga poses and sun salutations. 

PRE-REQUISITE - 3 months minimum yoga practice at beginner or higher level required
This class is not suitable for those new to yoga.
Chair Yoga
Sometimes we need a very gentle, accessible yoga practice to keep us healthy in mind, body and spirit. This 45 minute class uses a chair for additional support. All of the poses are done while sitting, leaning or holding onto a chair. Other yoga props such as blocks and yoga straps are used as well. This is a great practice for those who aren't otherwise active, have injuries* and/or limited mobility or simply want a class that will provide a gentle stretch and calm the mind. 

You will not be required to move down to the floor at any point in the class. 

Gentle movement encourages better circulation, weight bearing standing poses are a safe way to build bone density. Awaken areas of the body that have been inactive, soothe aching joints and strengthen muscles while calming your mind with this very enjoyable practice.  

Appropriate for anyone, especially those who have limited mobility, are recovering from an illness or injury or are looking for a very gentle yoga practice.  This class is especially beneficial for seniors.
Group Personal Training
GROUP PERSONAL TRAINING CLASSES
Strength and Resistance Training = Fitter, Healthier and Stronger!

Group Personal Training is more than just an economic alternative to one-on-one training. Our group classes offer the benefits of working with our incredible personal trainers at a fraction of the cost of the private rate with the added benefit of peer support, accountability and motivation. Participants do not have to be at the same fitness level to benefit from group training. Custom designed workouts using light weights and resistance bands are multi-level and appropriate for absolute beginner to lower intermediate fitness levels. These classes are so much fun that when the class is finished, there is usually a chorus of..."What, we're done already?" (Come experience it for yourself, we wouldn't lie to you!)


Multi-Level Instruction, appropriate for beginners to lower intermediate level, no experience required. 
          Yin Yoga is a gentle, therapeutic and increases flexibility, especially in the spine and hips. 
          It helps to restore and rehabilitate joints and muscles. No experience required, all levels 
         welcome. All poses done seated or lying on the mat, no up and down and no

Happy Knees Yoga
BEGINNER/RESTORATIVE YOGA CLASS
This class will incorporate traditional, restorative and yin yoga poses interspersed throughout, beginning with 30 minutes seated/lying down poses and ending with with 30 minutes of restorative/yin poses There will be zero pressure on the knees and wrists, yet you will get a full body stretch. If you've stayed away from or found yoga classes too difficult because you have sensitive knees/joints or find it difficult to get up and down from the floor for other reasons, this class is perfect for you. It's also appropriate for those with no joint issues as the class is both invigorating and relaxing, great for anyone who wants a gentle, uplifting class. 

Note...this class is not meant to strengthen knees, but to stay off them completely. Happy Knees Yoga is appropriate for those with arthritis and joint pain. Restorative Yoga helps to calm anxiety and lift depression.

This class is open to all fitness levels - no previous experience or flexibility level required. 
If you are new to yoga, this is a great class to start with.​

Yoga Stretch
This very gentle class is slow paced and helps to improve flexibility. Yoga Stretch is ideal for students of all levels who want to improve flexibility, are recovering from injuries or want to limber up tight bodies. 

Appropriate for all fitness levels, no experience or flexibility level necessary.

If you are new to yoga, this is a great class to start with and it's a great compliment to the Zumba or Group Personal Training class that follows it.

​To deepen your experience of healing and relaxation, Reiki Therapy is incorporated into this workshop. Reiki is an ancient form of universal energetic healing that encourages a state of balance, harmony, and self-healing. Reiki Therapy enables you to access your innate healing energies so that you are able to avoid distress or disease and achieve states of deep relaxation and healing by yourself. Like restorative yoga, Reiki Therapy works on all levels of physical, emotional and spiritual elements, to help reduce stress, anxiety and other ailments. 

Combining both Restorative Yoga and Reiki Therapy allows for deep stillness to be found, as well as a transformative experience within and without.  

This class is open to all fitness levels - no previous experience or flexibility level required.
If you are new to yoga and/or have injuries, this is a great class to start with.​
Yoga Core
MORE CHALLENGING YOGA CLASSES
The core is the centre or trunk of the body. It houses and protects all of our internal organs and supports our spine and posture.  Yoga Core is about strengthening the whole core, the front and the back, not just part of it. 

We will work from the inside out, using twists and beginner yoga poses that strengthen the core and back muscles. We will also stretch and practice deep abdominal breathing. 

This is a fast paced and challenging class. We suggest attending at least 3 Beginner 101 classes if you don't have prior yoga experience. HOWEVER, If you have no yoga experience and are up for the challenge, you're welcome to attend. It's a perfect compliment to Zumba class which follows it.

          Dance like a star! No experience necessary, this class will teach classic  
         dances such as Cha Cha, Swing, Samba, Waltz, Rumba, Tango etc.  
         Low impact steps and slow, patient instruction ensures everyone will be    
         able to keep up. Taught by Michelle Regal, an award winning Ballroom  
         Dancer!
BEGINNER LEVEL YOGA CLASSES
Yoga Detox
Yoga Detox is a slow, gentle class designed to detoxify your body as well as your mind. Incorporating twists & compression poses, circular motions, yin and restorative poses, detox yoga stimulates the digestive, immune and lymph systems, while focusing on deep, restorative breathing. The result is a completely refreshed feeling throughout the entire body and mind.

Yoga Detox helps to clear your skin and increase your focus and energy! Drink lots of water after this class to help flush the released toxins out of the body!

          Dance Party Featuring Hip Hop & Pop, Latin music. NEVER get bored in 
         this super fun dance class specifically created for people with no prior dance, featuring
         simple, easy to follow dance moves. Taught multi-level to accommodate ALL fitness

Mindful Movement:
Nia Dance
Leave your shoes and concerns at the door, quieten your mind and be guided into the sensations of your body. Nia is a grounded movement class for Body, Mind and Spirit! 

Nia is gentle on the knees.

Learn to move your body and get a great workout without pounding on your knees and feet. Nia's moves are gentle and deliberate so they nourish the joints rather than pummel them.

Nia combines dance, martial arts and healing arts.

A Nia class will provide you with the stretch and stress relief found in yoga, the muscle toning for hips & arms from martial art punches and kicks and the flexibility and freedom of dance.

The Music in Nia fosters a meditative state.

With a touch of world music and a smattering of songs you may know and love; each movement is choreographed with the music to give both your body and your mind a work out in a way that will reduce stress and rejuvenate you.

We do not wear shoes in Nia.

Practicing Nia in bare feet strengthens the muscles in your toes, arches, and ankles. Many people with foot problems and pain have found that Nia restores function in their feet, making it easier for them to walk.

If you are reluctant to take your shoes off, then please bring non-slip socks that have rubber soles.

Never get bored in this super fun dance class specifically created for people with no prior dance experience. Featuring high energy music including Hip Hop, Latin, & Pop music, Groovin' emphasizes boosting confidence and an overall sense of well being. Moves are broken down step by step and are low impact, simple, easy to follow and taught multi-level to accommodate ALL fitness levels. Move at your own pace, have fun and laugh; Groovin' might even change the way you see fitness!
